Massage Therapy Terms, Cancellation & Client Policy
To provide the best possible experience for all clients and to protect the health and wellbeing of both clients and therapist, please read the following policies before booking an appointment.
Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy
Appointments are reserved especially for you. If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please provide at least 24 hours’ notice.
Cancellations or rescheduling requests made with less than 24 hours’ notice may be subject to a cancellation fee of [Full amount / 50%of the appointment].
Missed appointments (no-shows) be Payable charged up to 100% of the appointment fee.
If you arrive late, your session may need to finish at the originally scheduled time so that it does not affect the next client. The full appointment fee may still apply.
If you need to cancel due to an emergency or unexpected circumstance, please contact us as soon as possible. Each situation will be considered individually.
Health & Wellbeing
Your health and safety are our priority. Please inform your therapist before your treatment if you have any medical conditions, injuries, allergies, recent surgery, or other health concerns that may affect your massage.
Please do not attend your appointment if you are feeling unwell, have a fever, or have symptoms of a contagious illness. We are happy to reschedule your appointment when you are feeling better.
Massage may not be appropriate in certain circumstances. Your therapist may recommend postponing or modifying treatment if they believe massage may not be suitable or safe for you at that time.
If you are unsure whether massage is appropriate for you because of a medical condition or medication, please consult your doctor or other appropriate healthcare professional before booking.
Client Responsibility
Clients are responsible for providing accurate and complete information about their health and wellbeing before treatment. Please inform your therapist of any changes to your health before each appointment.
By booking an appointment, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you will communicate any relevant health concerns before treatment begins.
Professional Boundaries
All treatments are strictly professional and therapeutic. Inappropriate, sexual, abusive, threatening, or disrespectful behaviour will not be tolerated.
The therapist reserves the right to end a treatment immediately if a client’s behaviour is inappropriate or if the therapist feels unsafe or uncomfortable. In such circumstances, the full treatment fee may still be payable.
Payment
Payment is due at the time of treatment unless otherwise agreed in advance.
Any applicable cancellation or no-show fees must be paid before another appointment can be booked.
Booking Confirmation
By booking an appointment, you acknowledge that you have read and understood these policies and agree to comply with them.
